| The Authority is presently building a 4 million gallons per
day (MGD) water treatment facility. This facility is scheduled to begin
operation 12 hours per day and produce 2 MGD in May 2001.
In conjunction with our water plant, a 650-acre water supply reservoir
is under construction with an anticipated completion date of December
2001. At completion we will begin supplying 4 MGD with the ability to
expand water treatment capabilities to 16 MGD, this should be sufficient
to supply Carroll County until 2050. |
