Fairfield Tap Fees
$3425.00 for water & sewer.
The following requirements apply to ALL builders, owners, renters
or developers:
- Deposits are required for every meter.
- Deposits will be applied to the final bill.
- Post the meter card so the lot can be identified for the tap.
- Install a gate valve on the customer side of the meter. Carroll County
Water Authority personnel will inspect the gate valve when the meter
is read the first time for billing.
- Do not run service from the house until meter is in place.
- Install the meter near the driveway in a well-maintained area
when possible. Due to rising insurance costs, the meter should not
be located on top of banks.
- You will receive a bill every 2 months beginning at the time the meter
is installed. The minimum bill for water is $15.00 and the minimum bill
for Fairfield is $30.00 because of sewer.
- Do not fence in our meter because we need easy access at all
times.
Your cooperation in observing these rules will be appreciated and will
allow Carroll County Water Authority to better service our customers.

3/4" meter & deposit - $1325.00
1" meter & deposit - $1475.00
